The Aftermath

     Darkened clouds into the sky
Nature starts to shake and cry
There's no place to run or hide
Looks like any hope has died.

     Thunder, lighting, mighty storm
Fear and madness are the norm
Of a land destined to fail
Once robust, now weak and fragil.

Look what nuclear war has done
     Final countdown has begun
     The whole world needs reconstruction
In the wake of the destruction!

     Leaders starting the arms race
     Monsters with a human face
Are the ones we should all blame
Yet they feel no guilt nor shame.

    All this tragic situation
    Causing our planet's damnation
    Fortunately it's not real
The Earth can still breathe and heal.

But the threat still lies somewhere
     So let's always be aware
That If evil has the power
It could lead to the last hour!

Chess

Let's play a game of chess
   To remove all the stress
    Caused by the daily grind
And find some piece of mind.

A world in black and white
Where there's no wrong or right
    A battle of the brains
    In which the smartest gains.

    Just like in real war
The rich still crave for more
And send the poor to die
    Pawns in a cruel lie.

   The bishops, knights and rooks
Are caught with threads and hooks
The queen is free to rule
While the king's just a fool.

They all need fame and power
    Until the final jour
   When winners take the crown
   And losers will go down!

Here Comes the Fall

    Here comes the fall
    When sunshine fades
    Days getting small
    Among dark shades.

    Here comes the gloom
    Like a dark hole
    Pain, guilt and doom
    Over your soul.

     Here comes the end
     Of the good times
     They're gone, my friend
     When the bell chimes.

     Yet this bleak age
     Coming your way
     It's just a stage
     Not bound to stay.

    Light will come back
    Chasing your fear
     All that is black
     Will disappear!
